Since October 2014 the Advanced Breast Cancer Group has been a charity organisation, registered with ASIC, and able to accept donations that are tax deductible.
From time to time we receive a generous donation from family members of women who have been in the group, sometimes several years ago. We are grateful for these donations and value the fact that they have kept us in mind. We endeavour to use the money raised by these donations for a specific reason or event. For example, the money donated by the belly dance community of Queensland and Northern NSW was the fund used to start our twice yearly workshops, which have proved to be not only fun and informative, but have provided support and help for family members and friends of the women in the group.
